* Seven Dials Fund Management has launched the Lightstone Prime High Street Fund, which will make investments in High Street locations in large U.K. cities such as Chester, Cambridge, Kingston, Nottingham and Canterbury. The fund will buy about twelve properties of GPB 1 million to GPB 7 million and will target initial yields of 6% to 6.5%, said Astrid Cruickshank, investment manager (Real Estate Finance & Investment).

* Switzerland's Partners Group has closed Partners Group Global Real Estate 2008 fund at ?275 million, Partners Group reports. The fund has already invested about 40% of its capital, including an investment in China (Real Estate Finance & Investment).

* Irvine, Calif.-based SVN Equities is planning to launch a $100 million value-added fund ...
